Summer Solstice Download
The Summer Solstice is as old as time, in previous times this was felt more spiritually, with blessings and homage, prayer and offerings to the Sun. In modern day it reflects the new beginnings for Summer; I turned the King of Swords for the energy around today and felt Strong and Powerful around the sacred elements surrounding us; what came to mind was the earth's powerful energy combined with the Sun and the Moon and I felt the power of the mind coming through from the King of Swords. Feel the power of your mind today and go on with confidence and let your intellect shine through. Tune into the blessings in your life and be grateful.
I have focused on Blessings (The Fool), Fruition (Four of Swords), The Moon (Wheel of Fortune), Light (The Moon), and I would like to offer a generic reading for today which I turned into The World card.
Blessings: The Fool
I felt happy and free, and what came to mind again was blessing and freedom for our future. The Blessings of Solstice are many; a new summer, a new field to tend, a new job to start, a new and vibrant energy to embrace. We have a YES to proceed for every Summer Solstice, a YES to feel jubilant, energy and blessings are upon us and we shall step out lightly and with intent that all is starting fresh and will be what we make of it. Go lightly, take 3 deep breaths, and step out like the Fool into the unknown and follow this centuries old energy of rebirth and light.
Fruition of Spring: Four of Swords
I felt OK and good, what came to mind was that Spring had tired out somewhat and I felt a peacefulness stemming from this tiredness. The Four of Swords takes us to needing to step aside and reflect on the past Spring; it was a busy time for the earth, and we are grateful for its passing and being. Now is the time to take a breath and be calm whilst Solstice takes us to a more buoyant joyous stage – Relax in consideration of the past Spring and be grateful for what has gone before – We have been Blessed. – This word BLESSED is repeated and repeated!
The Moon: Wheel of Fortune
I felt powerful, the sun is in a new cycle for the Earth, and the Moon is playing its part with the Sun in togetherness and union. All has been done before and will be done again and again each year. The Sun and the Moon both highlight the paths ahead and bring the new ages and cycles. The Wheel of Fortune brings this moon to the fore promoting the sun's energies for the new Solstice cycle.
Light: The Moon
I felt a wonderful brightness. The Moon light is Bright and with the Sun’s energy for this long and new term of Summer. This energy is shining through us specifically for us. We are true to this energy and the power it holds that can be harnessed through prayer, meditation, chanting and belief in all good things in life. For a good harvest, to rebirth of the earth’s cycle with goodness and nutrition for all of our souls, our minds, our spirituality and our earthly bodies.
Solstice Reading for you all – The World
This is symbolising a continual cycle of completing one phase and new starts and our progression guiding us from one phase to the next. This day we are Blessed (there it is again!) and can find contentment.
